Nutcracker: Every year the Berkeley City Ballet stages an elaborate production of the Nutcracker. The BCB Nutcracker features a cast of over 50 dancers with elegant costumes and sets. Dancers from companies such as the San Francisco Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet perform lead roles, allowing the students to work side-by-side with seasoned performers.
The experience of dancing in a professional, large-scale production is invaluable in the training of young dancers. BCB maintains an excellent reputation of presenting one of the few traditional and full-length productions of the Nutcracker in the East Bay.

BCB Benefit Concert Presented by Berkeley Mills: Berkeley City Ballet's Youth Ensemble will perform classical and contemporary works in the exquisite setting of the Berkeley Mills showroom. Also featured will be performers from Alonzo King's Lines, Company Contemporary Ballet, and Shaolin Kung Fu Monk Chung Jun. Wine and hors d'oevres will be served.

Spring Concert: Berkeley City Ballet presents an annual Spring Concert in BCB's studio theater. This performance gives students
a chance to demonstrate their progress over the year. The performance varies from year to year. The program may include class demonstrations, story ballets, new classical or contemporary ballet choreography and traditional classical variations or corps de ballet work.
When: May 10th and 11th at 1:00pm and 2:30pm

BCB Benefit Concert at Coventry Grove Amphitheater: Berkeley City Ballet is thrilled to perform at this one-of-a-kind outdoor venue nestled amongst the redwoods of Kensington. In addition to BCB's pre-professional division, the evening will feature an exclusive interview with San Francisco Ballet's Garrett Anderson and Courtney Wright, who will also perform the White Swan Pas de Duex from Swan Lake. Kevin Delaney and Gianna Davy from Company C Contemporary Ballet will star in the orginal ballet, The Magic Garden. This event is not to be missed! Come watch the sun set over the city while enjoying live music, great dance, and good wine!
