Nutcracker 2012:
Click to Enlarge Every year the Berkeley City Ballet stages an elaborate production of the Nutcracker. The BCB Nutcracker features a cast of over 40 dancers with elegant costumes and sets. Dancers from area professional companies augment the cast.
Berkeley City Ballet’s Nutcracker has an outstanding reputation and is one of the few traditional and full-length productions of the holiday favorite in the East Bay.

Take the Downtown Berkeley Bart to the Fremont Bart Station (Time: 68 minutes, Cost $4.35): Bart: Berkeley-Fremont
Then take the AC Transit Bus Route #217 to Ohlone College, Parking Lot P (Time: 20 minutes, Cost Youth $1.05. Adult $2.10). Fremont BART to Ohlone College-Weekend Schedule. Additional schedules can be found at actransit.org.
Please note: On Sunday Dec. 16 there is a Raiders game at the Oracle Arena at 1:00 off of 880. This will be an issue in terms of traffic, so please plan ahead!
