Nutcracker 2011:

Every year the Berkeley City Ballet stages an elaborate production of the Nutcracker. The BCB Nutcracker features a cast of over 50 dancers with elegant costumes and sets. Dancers from companies such as Lines Contemporary Ballet and Company C Contemporary Ballet perform lead roles, allowing the students to work side-by-side with seasoned performers.
The experience of dancing in a professional, large-scale production is invaluable in the training of young dancers. Berkeley City Ballet’s Nutcracker has an outstanding reputation and is one of the few traditional and full-length productions of the holiday favorite in the East Bay.
