Summer Workshop 2011-A Success!
Students at BCB spent July dancing from 9am-3pm. A final performance was held July 28th to a full house in BCB's Studio Theater. Upper levels performed two classical variations from the Sleeping Beauty: Lilac Fairy and Aurora's Variation Act 3. They also performed a five minute modern dance choreographed by Maureen "Mo" Miner and two jazz dances (one lyrical and one Broadway) choreographed by Yasmine Oiknine. The lower level performed an original ballet dance choreographed by Tai Vogel, a modern choreographed by Tai and Katrine Dailey, and a jazz dance choreographed by Yasmine Oiknine. Along with a lot of learning, a good time was had by all students!
Some of the feedback from students was: "I don't want Summer Workshop to ever end", and "This was the best summer of my life!".
