BCB's Financial Policies
Financial Policies 2011 – 2012:
Tuition Payment:
A credit card is required to register. An automatic charge will be made each due date for tuition. If payment by check is preferable make a note in the "Comments" box at registration or email BCB. If checks are not received by the due date the card will be charged with no refund.
Payment by Year: Due August 29 (5% savings for the year)
Payment by Quarter: Due August 29, November 21, January 30 and April 9 (approximately 10 weeks each based on school year).
Billing: BCB will not be billing or sending out reminders on due dates.
Payments Due: In full by the above dates. Students through the school year do not need to re-register. However, summer classes require adding the class (enrolling) through the BCB portal.
Late Charge: Payments made one week after the due date will accrue a $20 late charge. After two late charges, families will be required to pay for the year in full or the student may not take class.
Service Charge: A service charge of $20 will be made on returned checks, or $25 on unavailable funds on credit cards.
Non-Payment of Tuition: Students may not participate in class until tuition is paid in full.
Registration and Insurance: A non-refundable school year fee of $55 is required of all students. In addition, a non-refundable summer fee of $20 for Open Classes and $30 for Pre-Professional Classes is required.
Performance Fee (Pre-Prof only): Ballet 1-2: $100, all others $200.
Portal: Use BCB's portal to add classes (if you are a continuing student), get information on due dates and school closures, and follow your payment history. Enter at the right upper corner of BCB's website, click on "I don't know my password" and create a new one.
Withdrawals: There will be no refunds for student withdrawals.
Classes: Registration is open each Quarter for Dance
With Me, Pre-Ballet, Ballet Basics, and Open Classes.
