Ashlee George
Ashlee George is the reigning 2012 San Francisco Queen of Carnaval. She has performed regularly in San Francisco Carnaval since the age of 12 and is currently studying traditional and contemporary Brazilian dance at BrasArte's Casa de Cultura. Under the Artistic direction of Conceicao Damasceno and other notable Afro-Brazilian artists she has developed into an amazing performer. All of which has afforded her the opportunity to perform with Ginga/BrasArte, past Carnaval Queens, world renowned Latin American dancers and musicians.
