| BCB'S PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
Berkeley City Ballet’s pre-professional ballet program is for the student who aspires towards a high level of technical and artistic proficiency. Within an academy setting, the student follows a mandatory, rigorous and progressive class schedule beginning with Ballet 1 to Ballet 6. All students in the pre-professional division may perform in the Nutcracker and Spring Concert.
BCB’s pre-professional program is personalized with yearly student evaluations that determine promotions and casting. This program requires a high degree of commitment. Through formal study and attention to detail, BCB prepares the student for the option to enter the professional world of ballet. Students are accepted into this program by audition only and a placement audition class is required for all levels.

BCB'S GENERAL BALLET PROGRAM
For the student who wishes to pursue dance for the sheer joy
of learning movement as an expressive art and discipline. This program offers quality instruction with flexible scheduling. Visitor’s Days, during which parents are invited to observe student progress, are scheduled at the end of each semester.
