Youth Ensemble Performs at Berkeley Mills!

Berkeley City Ballet's Youth Ensemble was featured April 24th at the Berkeley Mills Showroom. With a stunning backdrop of high craftsman furniture, our students danced excerpts from the upcoming Spring Concert, including variations from Sleeping Beauty. They were joined by professional dancers Charlene Hannibal from Company C Contemporary Ballet and Keelan Whitmore from Alonzo King's Lines.

Mirroring the East/West design of Berkeley Mills furniture, the performance was rounded out by two Kung Fu demonstrations by the Shaolin Monk, Chung Jun.

BCB Benefit Concert at Coventry Grove Amphitheater

Berkeley City Ballet was thrilled to perform at this one-of-a-kind outdoor venue nestled amongst the redwoods of Kensington. In addition to BCB's pre-professional division, the evening featured an exclusive interview with San Francisco Ballet's Garrett Anderson and Courtney Wright, who also performed the White Swan Pas de Duex from Swan Lake. Kevin Delaney and Gianna Davy from Company C Contemporary Ballet also starred in the orginal ballet, The Magic Garden. Although the temperature was low, both the dancers and audience members put on extra layers and stuck it out in support of the school!
